After you have rehaired the bow, wipe the new hair with a clean cloth dampened with denatured alcohol. This will remove any film that may have been deposited during the fumigation stage and will allow the initial layer of powdered rosin to adhere evenly along the ribbon. Do not use Methyl Hydrate as it will contains toxins or Rubbing Alcohol which contains oils. Allow to dry completely before applying powder.
